Jingbo Agrochemicals secures land for 2,000 tons/year indoxacarb technical project

Recently, the Natural Resources and Planning Bureau of China’s Boxing County announced that Jingbo Agrochemicals has successfully acquired a plot of land (2024-I014) in the Boxing Economic Development Zone. This land will be used for the construction of the first phase of a 12,000 tons/year new green high-end technical project, which includes a 2,000 tons/year indoxacarb technical facility and supporting infrastructure.

Indoxacarb is a broad-spectrum, highly effective pesticide for controlling lepidopteran pests, with applications spanning rice, corn, cotton, and various other crops, as well as public health pest control. In recent years, as resistance to similar insecticides has become increasingly prominent, indoxacarb has gained industry recognition for its outstanding performance. However, due to its complex production process, only a limited number of companies currently have the capability to produce indoxacarb.

As one of the earliest enterprises in China to research and develop indoxacarb technology, Jingbo Agrochemicals leads the industry in indoxacarb technical production capacity. The company holds six product registrations related to indoxacarb, including various formulations and combination products. Additionally, Jingbo Agrochemicals has several registrations for indoxacarb-based combination products in its pipeline.

In terms of intellectual property, Jingbo Agrochemicals has obtained over ten patents for its indoxacarb products, including domestic invention patents and patent certifications in Europe and the United States. The product has been recognized as a National Patent-Intensive Product by the China National Intellectual Property Administration and has won the title of Shandong Province Manufacturing Champion Product.

The implementation of this project will further consolidate Jingbo Agrochemicals' leading position in the indoxacarb market and inject new momentum into the company's future development.
