Eurofins Agroscience Services appoints new MD & BU Head for Ecotoxicology

Eurofins Agroscience Services continues its commitment to strengthening its management team globally with the appointment of Dr. Marco Candolfi.

Marco will join Eurofins on July 1st 2015 and will take his position as Managing Director and Business Unit Head for Ecotoxicology for Eurofins Agroscience Services EcoChem GmbH in Niefern, Germany. In this role, he will report to Friedrich Knecht, COO Agroscience Services, who continues to lead the Group's global Ecotoxicology cluster.

Since graduating as Agronomist and holding a PhD in Entomology and Plant Physiology, Marco has had over his long career a number senior positions in CROs e.g. Springborn Laboratories, RCC Switzerland, RCC India and agro-industry e.g. Novartis Crop Protection, Syngenta and BASF. Marco joins Eurofins from IES Ltd where he was the CEO.
