FMC obtains registration extension for Avatar and Benevia insecticides in Brazil

The FMC recently achieved an extension of the registration for two insecticides of the company: Avatar®, to promote protection and provide a long control period for the management of caterpillars such as Spodoptera, and Benevia®, to provide high efficiency on whiteflies control with multiple action, also being able to control caterpillars.

With the extension, Avatar®, which previously served cotton, corn and soybean crops, has now obtained registration for beans, peanuts, peas, chickpeas and lentils, allowing farmers to have another tool to control Chrysodeixis includens. Benevia®, in addition to being registered for cotton, coffee, beans, soybeans, and tomatoes etc., also serves onion, garlic and shallot crops.
