China approved 39 pesticide ais registrations in May 2013

The Chinese Institute for the Control of Agrochemicals, Ministry of Agriculture (ICAMA) approved the registrations of 39 active ingredients of pesticides (excluding the renewal of registration) in May 2013, including 22 herbicides ,8 insecticides, 7 fungicides, and 2 plant growth regulators (PGR).
For the registration type, there are 3 LS registrations (1- year validity), 36 PD registrations (5-year validity), 2 of them only for export.

Chinese agrochemical company Fuhua Tongda Agro-chemical Technology (FUHUA) has received the majority product registrations, including 2 herbicides and1 insecticide.
Until now, there are 37 companies obtaining the fungicide azoxystrobin registrations , and 4 of them gained the registrations in May 2013.
Furthermore, DOW America gained the registration approval for insecticide sulfoxaflor 95.5%TC, which was registered in China for the first time. Chinese agrochemical company Lianyungang Neutech Chemical first got the the registration of prosulfocarb 97%TC in China as well.
