China approved 39 pesticide ais registrations in April 2013

The Chinese Institute for the Control of Agrochemicals, Ministry of Agriculture (ICAMA) has approved the registrations of 39 active ingredients of pesticides (excluding the renewal of registration) in April 2013, including 18 herbicides , 9 insecticides, 9 fungicides, 1 acaricide, 1 virucide and 1 plant growth regulator (PGR).
For the registration type, there are 2 LS registrations (1- year validity), 37 PD registrations (5-year validity), 10 of them only for export, .

Shandong Weifang Rainbow Chemical has been granted the registration for 3 herbicides and 2 fungicides, ranking the first in the registrants.
Dow CropScience has got the registration approval for Meptyldinocap 90%TC, which was registered in China for the first time. Rudong Zhongyi Chemical has obtained the registration of Famoxadone 98%TC, becoming the second company to register the product after Dupont.
