METLOCK fungicide seed treatment available in corn, cotton

METLOCK™ Fungicide (active ingredient: metconazole)—recently offered as a powerful component in several NipsIt™ SUITE seed protection systems from Valent U.S.A. Corporation—is now available as a single offering for corn and cotton.

METLOCK has quickly proven itself among sugar beet and cereal seed treaters and growers for the exceptional protection it provides against Rhizoctonia damping-off, Fusarium seed/seedling dieback and seed decay fungi.

Valent Brand Manager Marty Robinson said this newly available product provides unsurpassed "Inside-Out" protection with contact and super-systemic activity against early season crop diseases. In addition, its ultra-low use rate makes it an ideal, easy-to-use component for the seed processor.

"For several seasons, we've seen excellent results with METLOCK against the yield-robbing diseases which hit the seed hard early in the year," Robinson said.
