SGS Added Contract Research Services for Agrochemical Registrations in Turkey

The contract research and agricultural management consultancy, SGS Turkey has diversified its activities by adding Contract Research Services for Agrochemical Registrations. Field trials are required to support research and development, screening, demonstration as well as registration of agricultural and horticultural chemicals, bio-pesticides and other plant protection products. Agrochemical companies that require product registrations are increasingly looking towards SGS to provide capability and expertise across geographies (Americas, Europe, Asia Pacific). Over recent years SGS has expanded field trials capability and now conduct operations in over 25 countries around the world.

The following services are included in this new capability in Turkey:

- Biological Efficacy Testing
- Pesticide residue trials (field and laboratory studies)
- Baseline susceptibility tests
- Pesticide resistance management studies

Field trials are available for acaracides, biopesticides, fertilizers, fungicides, herbicides, insecticides, molluscicides, nematicides and plant growth regulators (PGRs).
