According to the manufacturer, the technology detects, analyzes, and responds in real-time, applying agrochemicals only where necessary.

"The new era of spraying has begun, and it has a name: ocuWeed – a complete solution for applications of unparalleled quality," says the technology developer. According to the Argentine company, the launch features "the most powerful AI module on the market."

Plantium stated that the product presented at Expoagro 2025 can connect up to 16 cameras to a single central unit. With this infrastructure, ocuWeed identifies weeds, optimizes every drop applied, and reduces the environmental impact of spraying while also significantly reducing the complexity and weight of the system on the boom.

According to the developers, ocuWeed "is not only powerful but also intuitive. Its interface allows for real-time visualization of detection and savings generated, dynamic adjustments, and integration of the autopilot on the same screen, ensuring better performance without requiring constant operator intervention.

Among the advantages of the new technology, the manufacturer highlights that ocuWeed guarantees up to 90% savings on agrochemicals and requires up to 10 times less product loading time. According to Plantium, applications can be targeted day and night, with over 95% detection accuracy and automatic peak cut-off, as well as in conventional spraying.

Furthermore, the Argentine company emphasizes that the product features precise droplet size control, independent pressure and flow control, and automatic variable dosing according to weed density or size. Finally, Plantium stated that ocuWeed can be adapted to the customer's existing sprayer, "transforming any sprayer into a smart machine."

"Combining technology, aesthetics, and functionality, its design withstands the most demanding field conditions, including extreme temperatures, vibrations, and adverse weather. This ensures that it remains functional and reliable over time, minimizing maintenance issues and increasing product durability," Plantium added.

In addition to the product, the Argentine company highlighted its "Plantium Remote" service during the event, which provides 24/7 support anywhere assistance is needed. "Innovation doesn't end with precision; Plantium Remote takes the concept of connectivity a step further. If any issue arises, technical support will be immediately available to resolve any questions or emergencies. With this package, you will receive pre- and post-application agronomic monitoring, ensuring that you can make the best decisions for your field," the company guaranteed.

"Today, ocuWeed represents power, usability, integration, and aesthetics, evolving precision agriculture. It is just one of the new projects Plantium has been working on for years and will be launching," Plantium said in conclusion.
