Publication of the BASF Report 2024

BASF has published its audited annual report for the business year 2024. It contains all key financial figures and comprehensively documents BASF’s environmental, social and governance performance. It shows how the company creates value for its stakeholders and how sustainability contributes to BASF’s long-term success.

For the first time, the sustainability part of the report was voluntarily prepared in accordance with the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS). BASF has identified the following topics as material and reports fully aligned with the respective standards: Environmental (Climate Change; Pollution Prevention; Water; Biodiversity and Ecosystems; Resource Use and Circular Economy), Social (Own Workforce; Workers in the Value Chain; Affected Communities) and Governance (Business Conduct). For each topic, the BASF Report discloses identified impacts, risks and opportunities and shows how BASF integrates material environmental, social and governance aspects in its strategy, core steering processes and management systems.

The report is published as a PDF and as an online version with additional interactive functionalities, animations and a key figures comparison. The financial figures that BASF already presented on February 28, 2025, remain unchanged.
