Brazilian company Ballagro, a pioneer in biological nematode management, announced the launch of the bionematicide Nemat Stellus during its participation in the 39th Brazilian Congress of Nematology (CBN).

According to the manufacturer, Nemat Stellus is a ″revolutionary″ bionematicide composed of synergistic and exclusive strains of Pochonia and Paecilomyces (Paecilomyces lilacinus, strain URM 7661 + Pochonia chlamydosporia, strain URM 8121).

The product is recommended for application on all crops where the biological targets Helicotylenchus dihystera, Heterodera glycines, Meloidogyne incognita, Meloidogyne javanica, Pratylenchus brachyurus, and Rotylenchulus reniformis, occur.

Additionally, Ballagro highlighted that the product is protected by Statera technology, an innovation that ″protects the microorganisms and makes the product versatile for different application methods.″

The company noted that the new product can be applied in various ways, catering to the specific needs of each producer: seed treatment, planting furrow, ground sprayer, and pivot irrigation.

″Nemat Stellus not only enhances the action of microorganisms but also promotes healthier soil, offering control that extends beyond the crop,″ the manufacturer stated.

″This year is especially significant for us as we celebrate 20 years of history, marked by innovation and technology in biological control and nutrition,″ Ballagro said in conclusion.
