Syngenta announced the expansion of its Digital Platforms team, a strategic move to strengthen the support and development of its innovative digital platform including Spiio™ soil sensor technology.

Recently the Digital Platforms team grew from five to eight members, marking a significant milestone in its commitment to enhance its technology while better serving customers. The additional expertise and talent will advance Syngenta capabilities with a focus on refining user experience, expanding functionality and optimizing the integration of Spiio soil sensor data and enhanced weather insights.

The Spiio soil sensor, recognized for its ability to capture crucial soil metrics including moisture, temperature, salinity and light, serves as a cornerstone of Syngenta Digital Platforms. It displays the data from the soil sensor and integrates advanced weather data, which has recently been enhanced to include more precise forecasting and predictive modelling capabilities.

"Our growing team is a testament to our dedication to innovation and excellence in digital turf management," said Steve Dorer, head of Syngenta Digital Platforms. "The team expansion will enable us to further elevate the support and functionality of our digital platform, ensuring that it continues to empower the turf industry with actionable insights and predictive analytics."
