SVG Ventures | THRIVE announced the selection of its tenth cohort, THRIVE Global X. This milestone year of programming marks the continuation of THRIVE’s mission to support scale-up companies in their journey towards growth within the global AgriFood tech sector.
The selected companies, chosen through a rigorous process that included the evaluation of over 1000 applications will embark on a six-month Global scale-up program starting in June 2024. This comprehensive program aims to facilitate investment, mentorship, curated resources, and corporate engagement for the participating companies. The culmination of the program will be marked by a demo day in September, followed by THRIVE’s Global Impact Summit & Startup Bootcamp in November.
The six companies selected for THRIVE Global X:
Agrology(Virginia, US)
Agrology is a predictive agriculture platform that empowers farmers to resist and reverse climate changes. They provide farmers with predictive insights that monitor greenhouse gases, allowing them to improve soil sequestration and generate carbon credits.
LiVa Bio Protection Technologies (Ness Zional, Israel)
LiVa fights food spoilage using bio-preservation and bio-control technology. The LiVa technology provides customers with a sustainable food system that ensures food security and minimizing negative environmental impact.
Robigo (Massachusetts, US)
Robigo develops precision microbial treatments designed to improve plant health and recover lost yields. Their technology leverages microbial engineering and data science to create products that are more efficacious and safer for other beneficial microbes, pollinators, humans, and the environment, enabling farmers to improve their bottom line while increasing the sustainability of their operations.
Soiltech Wireless (Idaho, US)
Soiltech Wireless is an AgTech platform designed to provide data insights from seed to storage. The technology enables farmers to increase yields and operational efficiencies, while providing organizations with end-to-end traceability to document the efficacy of regenerative practices.
Solena Ag (California, US)
Solena Ag increases agricultural production by understanding, preserving and calibrating soil diversity. The technology measures, appraises, and improves farmers’ biological capital by offering a sampling kit to provide measurement and valuation results for the soil.
UCROP.IT (Buenos Aires, Argentina)
UCROP.IT is a blockchain-based farming and crop traceability platform intended to connect crop growers with corporate stakeholders. Their mission is to enable sustainable production and certainty across crop cycles.

Acceptance into the Global X cohort also includes an investment from the SVG Ventures’ Pioneer Fund. The THRIVE Accelerator has a proven track record of nurturing early-stage AgriFoodTech companies, with over 100 graduates creating more than $1.6 billion in value. Notable alumni include Tortuga, Trace Genomics, Arable, Burro, and Nuritas.
