The launch of the Brazilian Association of Agricultural Adjuvant Manufacturers (APLICA) has been announced in Brazil.

According to the industry representatives, the association aims to act as a "catalyst for innovation and continuous improvement in the sector, implementing best practices in the manufacturing, use, and handling of solutions."

Vitor Anunciato.jpegDr. Vitor Anunciato, Technology Application Coordinator at BRANDT Brasil and Vice President of APLICA, stated, "This is a historic milestone, representing a strengthening of the agricultural adjuvants industry in Brazil."

"By creating an environment with greater collaboration among manufacturers, distributors, academics, and farmers, we raise confidence in the products," he added.

The APLICA vice president mentioned that the new association would focus on certifying agricultural adjuvants for use in the country. He emphasized that if all stakeholders in the segment joined APLICA, the association would have more strength and could collaborate with academic institutions to improve and share technical knowledge related to application technology in the country.

"Our mission is to enhance the entire production chain of agricultural adjuvants and become a reference in promoting the quality of solutions developed for the field. We expect to be a catalyst for innovation and continuous improvement in the sector," Anunciato said.

He highlighted the fact that BRANDT Brasil has in its portfolio adjuvant products with "innovative Integras technology, of American origin, which minimizes losses and provides greater safety and efficiency in agricultural applications."

These products are among the adjuvants that will be evaluated by APLICA, contributing to the "mission of promoting high standards of quality and reliability in the adjuvant segment."

According to Anunciato, APLICA drew inspiration from similar associations in other countries, such as the USA's Council of Producers and Distributors of Agrotechnology (CPDA).

This council maintained the CPDA Adjuvant Certification and provided a certification seal for adjuvants to ensure functionality based on their classification, serving as a consumer reference.
