The Rural Producers Cooperative (CooperCitrus ) opened its first unit in the state of Mato Grosso, Brazil. Through the resale of Bauer irrigation equipment and Bayer FieldView ™ Shop technologies, the unit located in East Spring is offering farmers the Campo Digital ecosystem, along with a complete line of precision agriculture products and services that could potentially impact the regional production process. The inauguration took place on November 21 at Rua Olivério Porta, 2,774 - Primavera II neighborhood.
Coopercitrus CEO Fernando Degobbi said the unit offers an unprecedented service model in the region. "This store is a true technology center. Here, producers can find services from soil diagnoses, planting and systematization design, which use digital algorithms and technologies. We also offer precision agriculture equipment, with a specialist technical team for the installation and maintenance of machines. In addition, we provide high-tech inputs and highly efficient and technological irrigation equipment," he said.
Rodrigo Parada, CEO of Bauer Brasil, said the role of this partnership is to the "bridge between the best irrigation solutions and technologies for producers.″
″Inaugurating this new unit in partnership with CooperCitrus only reinforces how our partnership is strategic and how we are aligned, so producers can have access to Bauer's best technological solutions in Brazil, along with Irricontrol and other cooperative partners,″ he said.
East Spring Digital Field also houses the first unit in Mato Grosso of the FieldViewTM Shop, which offers farmers everything they need regarding equipment to operate FieldView ™, as well as technical training for producers and their teams. In addition, the unit has professionals who can perform technical stops with consulting and specialist support, so farmers can use the information collected and analyzed by FieldView™ more quickly. By generating information based on data, farmers can not only improve their harvests but also positively impact the environment, consuming fewer inputs and natural resources.
According to Malu Nachreiner, CEO of Bayer Brazil and Country Divisional Head (CDH) Brazil - Crop Science Division, the history of success of Brazilian agribusiness is directly connected to the results that the cooperative system has promoted in the country. Coopercitrus Agricultural Technology Superintendent Tiago Aleixo explained the structure of the after-sales cooperative. "The store has a workshop specializing in agricultural drone maintenance.
