Hebei Lansheng Biotech Co., Ltd., (″Lansheng″ or the ″Company″) was established on March 7, 2014, with a registered capital of RMB54.91 million. It is located in the Jinzhou Economic Development Zone, Hebei Province, covering an area of 130 mu. Lansheng is a modern, designated technicals manufacturer primarily focused on green chemical innovation, and is a platform for innovative collaborations across multiple channels, fields and modes. Currently, Lansheng has established its presence in national and provincial-level parks in various northern provinces in China, and operates four production bases, a green chemical research institute, an international trading company, and an engineering design company. Lansheng’s corporate vision is to be a value-driven enterprise that contributes to social progress.

Lansheng’s innovative technologies and developments have received various certifications from local governments and earned numerous industry-related honors. The Company has been recognized as a national-level ″little giant″ enterprise, which is a small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) that specializes in niche sectors, commands a high market share and has strong innovative capacities and core technologies, as well as being a national-level ″post-doctoral research workstation.″ It has also received prestigious titles at provincial level, such as ″Green Factory″ and ″Water-saving Enterprise.″ Lansheng is certified for many international standards, including ISO9001 quality management system, ISO14001 environmental management system, ISO45001 occupational health and safety management system, ISO5000 energy management system, and the CNAS laboratory accreditation.

The Company currently employs 339 people, with over 120 dedicated to technical roles, including one Ph.D. and 21 master’s degree holders. Among them, the core research team possesses extensive experience in agrochemical synthesis and a solid theoretical knowledge base. The Company’s capabilities, both in terms of infrastructure and expertise, are continuously growing. It has recently inaugurated a new research building, providing ample laboratory space and a conducive research environment for the R&D team. Additionally, it is planning to build an engineering center. The Company boasts a highly skilled team of professional technical talents and excellent research and development facilities, positioning at the forefront of technology and allowing it to propose research topics with promising market prospects.

Since its establishment, Lansheng has prioritized the development of research and technology, with its annual research and development expenses accounting for more than 4% of its revenues. In recent years, the Company has undertaken over 30 research and development projects covering both the improvement of existing products and the continuous development of new ones. This approach has enabled the Company to innovate consistently and align closely with its strategy of development driven by innovation, technology and talents.

The research team includes several outstanding professors recruited from universities, who guide the progress of the Company’s technological endeavors. Lansheng maintains fruitful partnerships with universities and research institutions, ensuring its ability to address technological challenges and keep pace with the direction of the pesticide industry’s development. Through its research and development efforts in clean technology for pesticide production, the Company has successfully tackled multiple industry bottlenecks and achieved significant breakthroughs in unit operations, such as extraction, distillation and crystallization. These advancements are in line with national policies and industry trends, establishing the foundations for subsequent sustainable and green development.

The Company’s Research and Development Center not only possesses the innovative capacity to initiate new projects, it also demonstrates a remarkable ability to translate project outcomes into practical applications. Currently, the Company holds more than 60 patents, including 23 invention patents that contain two PCT patents. The Company has participated in the drafting of four industry standards and six group standards, all of which have been promulgated and implemented. It also contributed to the development of the national standard for Clethodim technical. Two new compounds discovered by the Company have been approved by the National Pesticide Structure Naming Center. The Company is also the winner of two second prize awards for pesticide innovation from the China Crop Protection Industry Association.

The Company’s research and development team continuously innovates in chemical synthesis and chemical engineering, by applying the principles and methods of green chemistry rooted in the concept of atomic economy, to redesign the combination of chemical reactions and chemical processes in pesticide manufacturing. This approach has led to breakthroughs in key technologies.

The Company has successfully developed more than 20 products, including Boscalid, Spirotetramat, 24-Epibrassinolide, Clethodim and Metribuzin, covering five major categories, which are insecticides, fungicides, herbicides, plant growth regulators and pesticide additives.

Clethodim, a key product of Lansheng, has earned a stellar reputation in the pesticide industry due to its exceptional efficacy and excellent degradation rate. Driven by the research and engineering innovations of its R&D team, Lansheng has established the world’s largest continuous Clethodim production facility, which operates at high efficiency, low cost and stable production, and its products have reached world-class level in terms of quality, featuring high content level (≥95%), light color and low degradation rate. Currently, the Company has a production capacity of 8,000 tons of technical and 18,000 tons of emulsifiable concentrate, with multiple production sites ensuring a stable supply.

Boscalid, another key product of Lansheng, was initially industrially produced in China by the Company. Through years of process improvements and technological innovations, the Company’s products have achieved high-quality standards with a purity of over 98% and stable production. Currently, the Company has a production capacity of 500 tons for this product, with plans for expansion by 2,000 tons by the year end and 5,000 tons in the future.

Spirotetramat, a key product of Lansheng, was initially industrially produced in China by the Company, and features a proprietary patented process developed in-house. The Company’s continuous efforts in research and development of essential intermediates has brought it closer to the complete localization of raw materials. Through innovations in terms of process, engineering and automation, the Company has built a fully automated, continuous production line for Spirotetramat, resulting in reduced costs, stable production and a high-quality product with a purity exceeding 98%. The Company is capable of producing 1,000 tons of Spirotetramat annually.

24-Epibrassinolide, a key product of the Company, is produced using a green synthesis process and at an industrial scale, which marks a global milestone. The Company has established production workshops capable of producing tons of this compound. The product has a purity exceeding 95%, and can be produced stably and supplied reliably.

Isoxadifen-ethyl, a key product of the Company, is used as a safener for chemicals such as Tembotrione, Fenoxaprop-P and Nicosulfuron. After years of development, it has secured the top market position and expanded into overseas markets, with significant growth potential in the future.

Pretilachlor, another key product of the Company, is produced using green chemical technology, streamlined reaction steps and a continuous production process. A total of 10,000 tons of product can be produced in a workshop with an area of 200-square meters. As the product continues to gain traction, its advantage in terms of scale will become increasingly evident.

Currently, registration applications for technicals have been successively submitted and approved in various countries and regions, such as the European Union and Australia. Spirotetramat and Clethodim formulations have received approval for registration in Australia. In over a hundred countries, various clients have been authorized to submit registration applications and approvals are expected to be granted over the next two to three years. In the production and marketing of new products, the Company will continue to uphold the belief that ″Lansheng products are always excellent″ through steadfastly investing in research and development and diligently prioritizing quality.
