During its participation at the National Association of Distributors of Agricultural and Veterinary Inputs (Andav) Congress, HELM do Brasil is presenting, at its stand, a complete portfolio of crop protection solutions, especially for soy cultivation, in addition to digital tools for precision agriculture.
The 12th edition of the event is being held between August 8 and 10 at the Transamerica Expo Center in São Paulo.
The herbicide, Allus®, which reduces the seed bank and favors the germination and development of weed-free soybeans, and the fungicide, Proteus®, specified for planting soybeans, in addition to the SKYFLD® precision agriculture digital tool, are company highlights at the Andav Congress.
According to Fabio Del Cistia, director of Marketing and Portfolio Development at HELM do Brasil, Allus® is an essential product for managing weeds that are difficult to control or are resistant, providing an excellent control spectrum and period suitable for the needs of producers, as well as offering secure results.
Another highlight of HELM is the fungicide, Proteus®, which has a balanced formulation with two active ingredients; one multisite and one systemic. ″Due to its composition, one of the main benefits of Proteus® is its efficiency in managing Asian rust, in addition to being an excellent tool for managing resistance,″ Lüth said. The product does not require the use of adjuvants.
SKYFLD® Platform
At the Andav Congress, HELM is also presenting, among its solutions for improving crop management, the SKYFLD® platform, which aims to contribute to the future digitalization of agriculture.
A precision agriculture tool, the platform makes it possible to monitor crops, plan weekly activities and share information with relevant teams. It also provides a digital infrastructure to manage fields and plan and document field activities. Suitable for organizing more complex operations, it enables direct and secure data-driven communication directly with colleagues, employees or consultants, ensuring a high level of reliability and transparency.
According to André Salvador, who is globally responsible for SKYFLD® at HELM, the novelty of the platform is the integration of Plantix and CropX. The Plantix's digital solution is assesses images for disease recognition and is a platform to disseminate best agricultural practices.
The app covers 30 agricultural crops, detects over 500 plant symptoms, is available in 18 languages and has been downloaded over 15 million worldwide. Additionally, Plantix has created an ecosystem for distributors to connect with farmers to offer sourcing and financing. The services are offered free of charge.
CropX has also been incorporated into the SKYFLD® platform, adding the functionality of monitoring soil moisture. According to Salvador, the main objective of these technologies is also to make agricultural production cheaper and more efficient.
The app is available to users across Europe and South America, and is compatible with Android and iOS systems. While downloading them is free, maximum productivity can be achieved by combining it to the SKYFLD® web version that is automatically synchronized with the application.
