The technology company Indigo announced the official launch of its first crop protection product: the biotrinsic bionematicide, formulated based on Pseudomonas oryzihabitans.
The novelty was presented during the Tecnoshow 2023 fair, which had special coverage by AgroPages.
According to Indigo, biotrinsic has a ″premium performance, controlling all stages of nematode growth and leaving plants and soil healthier.″
The main targets are cysts (Heterodra glycines), galls (Meloidogyne incognita), and lesions (Pratylenchus brachyurus).
″Since it is a multi-crop bionematicide, it can be applied to soy, corn, cotton, wheat, rice, beans, peanuts, and sorghum crops,″ explained Reinaldo Bonnecarrere, LATAM director of Indigo biological products.
