Albaugh announced that the company has received registration from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency for Ace™ 3.8L ST, a new fungicide seed treatment offering, available for sale spring 2023 (EPA Reg. No. 45002-40).

Ace 3.8L ST is a broad-spectrum fungicide with activity on both soil-borne and seed-borne diseases. The formulation was specifically developed to deliver enhanced handling, stability, performance, and value when used in custom blend seed treatment offers, as well in a tank mix with other seed treatment formulations. Ace 3.8L ST contains the active ingredient Ipconazole, the same active ingredient found in Rancona® 3.8 FS.

″Ipconazole is a unique triazole chemistry that is a highly systemic, low-use-rate seed treatment fungicide that offers enhanced disease protection across many crops including corn, soybeans and cereals,″ says Chris Zita, Albaugh North American Director – Seed Treatment. ″Ace 3.8L ST is an excellent companion in tank mixes and custom seed treatment blends for the control of tough pathogens like Rhizoctonia, Fusarium and Phomopsis.″

″We are excited about the continued expansion of our seed treatment portfolio with the addition of Ace 3.8L ST (Ipconazole) as it further demonstrates Albaugh’s commitment to delivering a broad portfolio of products for our customers to use in their customized seed treatment offers,″ Zita continued.
