BASF’s insecticide broflanilide granted full registration in China

Following BASF's release of Inscalis (afidopyropen being the active ingredient) in China in 2019, its brand-new insecticide Geligao (broflanilide being the active ingredient) was recently granted full registration in China and will become another prime product for the control of resistant chewing mouthparts.
Broflanilide has a new mechanism of action, being classified as Group 30 by (IRAC). So far, it is the only compound in this group to effectively control Lepidoptera and Coleoptera pests, without cross-resistance to existing insecticides.
