Agriculture drone solutions provider AgEagle has announced that it has finalised the deal for a new Kansas manufacturing facility.
The 12,000-square foot site is near the Wichita Mid-Continent Airport and will house AgEagle’s drone and subcomponent manufacturing and assembly operations.
Custom design, engineering and testing activities will also be completed in the building.
Upon completion of modest modifications to the space, the Company expects to commence its move from Neodesha, Kansas to the new facility in September.
Michael Drozd, CEO of AgEagle, noted: “We are very pleased to have completed the search for our new manufacturing home and believe we have chosen the ideal location, providing ample room for the planned scaling of our manufacturing operations.
“I’d like to express our appreciation to the State’s Department of Commerce, the Greater Wichita Partnership, the National Institute for Aviation Research at Wichita State University and the City of Wichita for their enthusiastic support of our decision to move to Wichita. We look forward to settling in quickly.”
