Grupo Agrotecnología’s two biofungicides registered in Peru

Grupo Agrotecnologia has obtained registration approval in Peru for two of its biofungicide products, Ospo-Bot and Opo-Vi55.

Ospo-Bot is a mixture of nutrients and growth factors from fermentation extracts of specific microorganisms. Ospo-Bot is an effective biofungicide for use against phytopathogenic fungi, especially gray mold (Botrytis) and soft rot. It acts preventively, forming a physical barrier over the area covered by its treatment broth. It also prevents the growth of the fungus by competing for nutrients and space and destroying fungal germ tube and mycelium.

OSPO Vi55 is based on free amino acids from plant sources and fermentation extracts of selected microorganisms. Ospo-Vi55 is a biofungicide that also works preventively and curatively on contact. It is ideal for controlling fungi that cause powdery mildew in crops such as grapes and artichokes, as well as diseases caused by Stemphylium Sp on asparagus crops. In addition, it can be applied both inside greenhouses and outdoors.
