FarmHannong launches herbicide Flexo in Philippines

SouthKoreaSouth Korean chemical company LG Chem’s agrochemical subsidiary, FarmHannong Co., Ltd., has launched its herbicide, Flexo® (Flucetosulfuron) in Philippines. The product is co-laucned with FarmHannong’s local partner Biostadt Philippines, Inc., a well-known distributor for handeling speciality products in the country.
Flexo® is a powerful and safe rice herbicide that shows distinctive strengths such as extremely low pytotoxicity via its definitive selectivity on rice and exceptional bioefficacy working through leafs, stem, and root of weeds, moreover it can control martured Echinochloa Crus-Galli with over three leafs stage. In addition, its low dosage, even a one-hundredth compared to some herbicides, smoothly make it control wide spectrum weeds, early to late emergence by one-shot. Lastly, as Flexo® acts via both ways of foliage and water surface treatment, this multiple function can impact Filipino herbicide market which foliage treatment herbicide mostly has been used.
Biostadt Philippines, Inc., FarmHannong’s Filipino partner, hosted Flexo® launching events across six core sites including Bulacan, CL and Zaragoza, NE. More than six hundreds of large farmer houses participated the events showing their particular attention.

FarmHannong has been exporting Fluctosulfuron product to four nations since it had launched in 2004 in South Korea, and also now is preparing to introduce it to Myanmar as per completion of registration.
