CNH Industrial and AppsforAgri introduce a new ‘IoT’ product portfolio as part of the new AGXTEND™ precision farming aftermarket brand. AGXTEND™ features the best-in-class precision farming and ISOBUS solutions to provide customers in Europe, the Middle East and Africa region with comprehensive access to a range of innovative and dynamic technologies. AGXTEND™ accelerates the digital agricultural revolution offering scanners, sensors and ‘IoT’ solutions to make farming easier, more precise, efficient and sustainable.
FarmXtend
FarmXtend, the new IoT product portfolio name, is supplied by the Dutch AgTech company AppsforAgri B.V. This company specializes in innovative mobile apps, sensors and knowledge about weather and agronomy. The FarmXtend field sensors are wirelessly connected to the farmer's smartphone, allowing direct access to real-time company data. In the FarmXtend app, data is uniquely combined with agronomic knowledge in decision support information to protect and optimize returns and reduce environmental impact.
Maximilian Birle, Head of Precision Solutions and Telematics Aftermarket Product Management at CNH Industrial says: "The IoT and environment IoT sensor product are key elements of the AGXTEND™ brand. AppsforAgri has the excellent customer focus we were looking for, with easy to use IoT products and the strategy to derive real agricultural insights from the collected data."
