Shall Diquat Replace Paraquat in Brazil?

While paraquat is in process of phasing out in Brazil, there shall have a window for diquat to replace it.
By now only 5 players have registration of formulated product - 3 of them approved by AllierBrasil and soon after transferred to Sharda do Brasil. Nevertheless diquat prices are much higher than paraquat.

AllierBrasil has registered, on behalf of its client, diquat technical, having as source Zhejiang Funong Biotech Co., Ltd.
Based on regulation rules all other ongoing registrations with same manufacturer shall be evaluated and approved in the same time, regardless the date of submission. Based on this Nortox, Cropchem and Sapec’s registrations were also approved.
According to the regulations, after the technical product registration is approved, formulated product registration is prioritized for evaluation.
Soon there will be more players in the market.
