Agroceres acquired Brazilian special fertilizer company Binova

BrazilThe Agroceres Group informs that it has acquired control of Binova, a special fertilizer company based in Ribeirão Preto, SP, Brazil. The acquisition marks the entry of the group in the field of plant nutrition. The value of the deal was not informed.
Marcelo Ribeiral, President of the Agroceres Group, says in a statement that some time ago, "we have prospected companies for a possible acquisition. Binova was the best choice, because it believes and invests in the same pillars that are part of our value proposition: technology innovation, quality, service & and result in the field. "
Agroceres Group, a Brazilian conglomerate, was founded in 1945, it plays in maize and sorghum seeds, animal nutrition, animal genetics and crop protection fields. Binova acts in special fertilizers since its foundation in 1997.
