Agroceres acquired Brazilian special fertilizer company Binova

The Agroceres Group informs that it has acquired control of Binova, a special fertilizer company based in Ribeirão Preto, SP, Brazil. The acquisition marks the entry of the group in the field of plant nutrition. The value of the deal was not informed.

 

Marcelo Ribeiral, President of the Agroceres Group, says in a statement that some time ago, "we have prospected companies for a possible acquisition. Agroceres Group, a Brazilian conglomerate, was founded in 1945, it plays in maize and sorghum seeds, animal nutrition, animal genetics and crop protection fields. Binova acts in special fertilizers since its foundation in 1997.
