Bayer and Coprossel partner on industrial seed treatment

Bayer has announced a partnership with Coprossel’s cooperative union for the installation of industrial seed treatment machines at the cooperative's seed processing unit in the Brazilian state of Parana.
With the favorable climate, this region has been presenting a high yield of soybeans, corn, beans and wheat.
According to Bayer, the industrial seed treatment is fundamental to Brazil protecting the crop in its initial stages, contributing to the management of plagues and diseases in this stage, besides the possibility of applying specific inoculants and micro-nutrients, which can speed up the absorption of soil nutrients. Through the seed treatment and precision of product application, it is possible to obtain a homogeneous coating of each product on the seeds.
According to the Market Development consultant at Bayer, André Angonese, this partnership is very important for producers. Coprossel offers information and training to the members of the cooperative union to approach people and promote the development of the region. “As a partner, Bayer supports with innovations and participates in the day-to-day.”
