Promip, a specialist in biological products and solutions for integrated plague management programs, has announced the launch of Vant, a vehicle that allows the aerial application of biological products over large planting areas. At the launch, Promip highlighted the importance of the use of Trichomip, a biological agent that acts directly on insect eggs, impeding the birth of the insects, while not harming the plants.
“We have gathered the best technology for agriculture to create a single solution. With the new equipment, an unmanned aerial vehicle, this procedure will become even more practical and effective. With the application of Trichomip, consisting of special microwasps that act against moth eggs, the development of the plague will gradually stop,” explained Marcelo Poletti, founder and CEO of Promip.
Founded in 2006, Promip is a Brazilian company that offers innovative solutions that are presented as sustainable for agriculture, producing and trading predators that complement the use of agrochemicals in controlling plagues, diseases, and weeds and improving agricultural yields.
“We expect to surprise everyone with our solutions that aim to improve the quality of food in a sustainable way. Our solutions for biological control and integrated plague management are part of the future of agriculture. Even producers of organic food can use our method, which makes us a valuable contributor,” concluded Poletti.
