AgroPages-BASF released new seed treatment Delit in China-Agricultural news

Recently BASF released another blockbuster seed treatment Delit - a part of its AgCelence® series. The product is a pyraclostrobin 18% FS, which effectively enhances seedling’s adversity tolerance to provide a strong backup for crop yield.

Cold springtime is a main disastrous climate in sowing period, during which warm air, low temperature and wetness occur at same time, often leading to seedling failure or suppressed seedling. On the other hand, drought is a killer to crop yield. To cope with these natural disasters, BASF has been working on proper solutions. According to present experiment, it reveals that Delit performs quite well as against extreme weather. According to Mark Shillingford, the marketing executive of crop protection of BASF, Delit effectively raises seedling’s adversity tolerance, being cold-resistant, drought-resistant and has a very evident adversity compensation function.
