Eurofins Agroscience Services, a global service provider for the crop protection industry, has an immediate opening for a team leader position within the Group.
Job Responsibilities:
• Provide leadership for all Sales & Marketing activities within the Group. Ensure efficient operation of the Key Account Management (KAM) process and lead the KAM organisation
• In association with the Head of Sales and the KAM team, propose local, global and customer specific sales targets to the Senior Management Team
• In association with the Head of Sales, the KAM team and BU heads, develop and execute actions to ensure that sales performance across the Group is achieved
• Oversee the planning and execution of global customer sales visits
• Monitor closely the activities of our competitors – provide information to the Senior Management Team regarding possible co-operations or acquisitions
• Anticipate future changes in the market and identify competitive threats and opportunities
• Oversee the annual production of a Sales & Marketing plan
• In association with the Head of Marketing, oversee the production of all promotional marketing material
Role Profile:
• Extensive knowledge of the Agchem business and/or CRO industry and the market – at least 5 years experience in either a R&D related function of an Agchem Company or CRO
• 10 years commercial experience completed with a proven track record in managerial roles, preferably with responsibility over a sales team
• Be an excellent communicator, spoken/written in local language, as well as in English
• Empathy and cultural sensitivity
• Excellent analytical skills
• Active understanding of business processes and financial data
• Ability to anticipate future developments
• Proven negotiation skills
