Syngenta Canada Inc. announced the introduction of Cruiser® Vibrance® Quattro seed treatment, a complete Seedcare™ solution for western Canadian cereal growers, delivering control of a broad range of seed- and soil-borne diseases and insect pests.
“Cruiser Vibrance Quattro is the Seedcare solution of choice for cereal growers faced with hard-to-control disease and insect pressure,” said Nathan Klages, Product Lead, Seedcare with Syngenta Canada. “With four fungicides, an insecticide and the added benefits of Vigor Trigger® and Rooting Power™, this all-in-one liquid formulation offers comprehensive disease and insect protection, together with enhanced crop establishment, for a stronger, more vigorous cereal crop.”
Cruiser Vibrance Quattro combines the insecticide thiamethoxam (Group 4) and the fungicides difenoconazole (Group 3), metalaxyl-M (Group 4), sedaxane (Group 7) and fludioxonil (Group 12) for use on barley, oats, rye, triticale, winter wheat and spring wheat. The sedaxane component of Cruiser Vibrance Quattro delivers Rooting Power benefits, enhancing root development and strength, and defending against soil-borne Rhizoctonia spp; the inclusion of fludioxonil provides a new mode of action against seed- and soil-borneFusarium spp; and, thiamethoxam delivers in-season wireworm protection together with the Vigor Trigger effect, resulting in improved emergence, greater uniformity and enhanced stand establishment for higher yield potential. Together, these benefits deliver a complete seed treatment package.
While Cruiser Vibrance Quattro may be applied by commercial seed treaters, it is also available in a convenient, pre-mix formulation that can be applied on-farm without the requirement of a closed system. To allow for optimal on-farm treatment flexibility, Cruiser Vibrance Quattro is available in a range of packaging sizes.
