Monsanto, whose revenues totaled $13.5 billion in 2012, wants to sell a stake in CanaVialis, its cane sugar business in Brazil. As anticipated by Valor PRO, the real-time news service of Valor, the biotech giant has hired Morgan Stanley to seek a financial partner. The company aims to sell a minority stake in the business, which was acquired in November 2008 from Votorantim Novos Negócios for R$616 million.
