On Aug 15, 2013, Bayer held Gaucho brand communication meeting in Zheng Zhou, He Nan of China, solely re-launched Gaucho with a new brand image.
Gaucho has been the seed treatment product market leader for many years. Since its launch in 2000, it has been well received and welcomed by high-end seed companies and farmers with its efficacy of strengthening roots, seedlings and yield enhancement. In particular after registration extended to corn, peanut, potato, rice and wheat, Bayer designed a completely new brand image for Gaucho, aiming at making it the first choice of seed companies and farmers. The cartoon promoter holding crops is the final chosen image out of several proposals based on farmer survey result. It’s a full reflection of Bayer’s commitment of serving farmers and the industry.
This meeting is with participation of over 70 personnel from China’s National Agro-tech Extension & Service Center (NATESC), He Nan Plant Protection Station (PPS), channel distributors and seed company management. They witnessed corn seed dressing with Bayer’s CF-35 machine and saw how it perfectly worked with Gaucho to get bright colored, well balanced covered seeds with good fluidness. Exhibited Bayer container plants fully reflected the advantage of different recipe and how it increase the value of high-end seeds and therefore fuel the crop to increase yield. Seed company management showed high interest in re-launched Gaucho and full confidence in Bayer SeedGrowth solution.
