China exported US$100 mln worth 12 pesticides in 2012

According to the data released by the Chinese Institute for the Control of Agrochemicals, Ministry of Agriculture(ICAMA), China exported 402 pesticides in 2012, of which 12 pesticides’ export value exceeded US$100 million, accounting for 59.2% of the export volume and 44.0% of the export value during the year. 

Nineteen pesticides’ export value reached US$50 million respectively, totally accounting for 15.5% of the export volume and 17.4% of the export value.

There were 87 pesticides, with export value exceeding US$10 million respectively, totally accounting for 17.3% of the export volume and 26.1% of the export value.

These pesticides include: Abamectin, Profenofos, Prometryn, Clopyralid, Metolachlor, Aquacide, Cypermethrin, Sulfentrazone, Ethiprole, Acetamiprid, Dimethoate, Dicamba,  Thidiazuron, Imazethapyr, Carbosulfan, Nicosulfuron, Diazinon, Fluoride Sulfonic, Grass Ethers, Butachlor, Mesotrione, Delicia, Tribenuron-Methyl, Carbaryl, Abamectin-Aminomethyl, Difenoconazole, Rich-D-Transallethrin, 2，4-D Butylate, Phosethyl-al, Gibberellic Acid, Thiophanate-Methyl, Quizalofop-P-Ethyl, Prochloraz, Metalaxyl, and Triazophos.
