ECHA adopting the proposed CLH for five pesticidesqrcode

The ECHA’s Committee for Risk Assessment (RAC) adopted opinions for harmonised classification and labelling (CLH) of five pesticides on Mar 12, 2013, they are the fungicide, mandipropamid, the herbicides, fenoxaprop-p-ethyl and isoxaflutole, the biocide, potassium sorbate and the rodenticide, tricalcium diphosphide. The European Commission will decide whether the proposed CLH will be taken based on the RAC opinions. If adopted, the five substances will be added to Annex VI to the CLP Regulation. The details are as follow:

-Fatal if swallowed; toxic in contact with skin; causing  serious eye damage;irritating to the skin fatal if inhaled ;liberating very toxic gas when in contact with acids.
