AgroPages-Australia cancelled registration of FMC’s herbicide Affinity 400 DF-Agricultural news

After receiving the request of cancellation registration of Affinity 400 DF herbicide (carfentrazone-ethyl) from FMC Australasia, the Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority(APVMA) has decided to cancel the product registration in accordance with Section 42 of the Agvet Code,the effective date is 14 March 2013.

During the period of cancellation, a person may supply,possess, have custody of, use, or deal with the product according to its label instructions until 14 March 2015.

After 14 March 2015, it is an offence to supply, possess, have custody of, use, or deal with the product in a manner that contravenes the above instructions.
