McCauley Brothers Termite and Pest Services, based in Pittsburg, Calif., has been acquired by Terminix, a subsidiary of The ServiceMaster Company, one of the nation's largest residential and commercial service networks, it was announced.

McCauley Brothers was founded by Glen and Sean McCauley, and today is among the largest pest control operators in California’s Bay Area region. The company provides pest management, termite, weed management, bed bug, and lawn and landscape services to both residential and commercial customers. The company’s management, including the McCauley’s, will join the Terminix team.  Excluded from the sale are the McCauley Brothers’ agricultural crop services and commercial turf care divisions.

"These are always difficult decisions to make, but easier when your employees have endless new opportunities for their careers”, said Sean McCauley. “It will give everyone a deeper platform to further themselves as well as accomplish their personal goals.  I look forward to joining the Terminix team as well.”

Tullius Partners represented and acted as the exclusive financial advisor to McCauley Brothers in the transaction. Terms of the transaction are not being disclosed.
