AgroPages-Aceto's 4Q agchem sales up 19.5%-Agricultural news

The US company, Aceto (Lake Success, New York), recorded a 19.5% increase in its crop protection sales in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2008. The company attributes the rise mainly to improved sales of peanut herbicides and potato sprout inhibitors. Crop protection revenues accounted for 5% of Aceto’s overall sales of $359.6 million in the year ended June 30th 2008.
