AgroPages-Chile approval for Bayer's Infinito-Agricultural news

Chile has approved Bayer CropScience’s new oomycete fungicide, Infinito 687.5 SC (fluopicolide 62.5 g/litre + propamocarb 625 g/litre). It was registered earlier this year for use on potatoes and onions against late blight (Phytophthora infestans). The approval follows registrations in Colombia as well as the Dominican Republic and Guatemala. Fluopicolide received its first approvals in the UK and China in 2006, and has since been registered in several European countries. It has recently passed its first hurdle in the registration process in Brazil.
