MBI strengthens commercial operations with new hiresqrcode

Marrone Bio Innovations (MBI) announced the appointment of key personnel to its growing customer-focused team that is expanding the use of the company’s biopesticides throughout the U.S. agricultural market:
 
• Patrick Clark, Sales Representative, Eastern Region
 
• Ryan Hesse, Sales Representative, Western Region
 
• Brandt Nichols, Sales Representative, Mid-South Region
 
• Ryan Richards, Sales Representative, Florida
 
• Sarah Risorto, Sales Representative, Northern California
 
• Guy Wilson, Product Development Specialist, Southeastern U.S. 
 
"With demand for our effective agricultural products soaring across all regions in the U.S., it’s critical that MBI expand to meet the needs of our growing customer base,” said David Warman, director of sales for MBI. “This is a significant expansion of our sales force, and we are confident that with this highly qualified team MBI will continue to provide the excellent service and support our customers expect and deserve. The valuable industry experience each of these individuals brings to MBI will play an important role in the continued adoption of our products.”
 
Patrick Clark joined MBI to support distributor sales in the Great Lakes, Northeastern, and Mid-Atlantic states. Clark has commercial nursery production and business management experience, and earned a bachelor’s degree in crop science, horticulture, and land resource management from California State University, Chico. Clark also holds associate degrees in agriculture science, agricultural business, and agricultural & natural resources.
 
To support sales in central and Southern California, as well as Arizona, MBI added Ryan Hesse as western regional sales representative. In addition to being an experienced California Pest Control Advisor (PCA) in Fresno and Tulare counties, Hesse spent time at Paramount Citrus, and has received a degree in plant protection science from California Polytechnic State University.
 
Brandt Nichols, hired to support sales in the mid-south region, joined MBI after serving four years as a county director with the Mississippi State University Extension Service where he led extension programs in Jones and Tippah counties. Nichols has both retail and wholesale sales experience and received a Bachelor of Science degree in agricultural engineering technology and business from Mississippi State University.
 
A native Floridian, Ryan Richards brings years of farm management experience to the MBI sales team. Before joining MBI to spearhead sales in Florida, Richards worked with Abbott & Cobb as a seed consultant. Prior to that, he managed farm operations for Alico and Red Star/Bright Star Farms. Richards holds a Bachelor of Science degree in agriculture, natural resource management from University of Florida.
 
An active member of the California Association of Pest Control Advisers (CAPCA), Sarah Risorto comes to MBI from South Valley Farms where she was an agronomist/PCA. In her role at MBI, Risorto will support sales throughout the Northern California territory. Risorto received her bachelor’s degree from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona where she majored in agronomy and minored in pest management.
 
Guy Wilson joined MBI as product development specialist, and is a key employee in supporting the use and rapid expansion of Regalia® Biofungicide in the Southeastern U.S. He is also involved in the field development of several new insecticides. Prior to joining MBI, Wilson served for 10 years with the Mississippi State University Extension Service, and he holds a degree in agriculture from the University of Arkansas and Mississippi State University.
 
MBI will continue to hire exceptional individuals with the desire to contribute to the development and marketing of effective, safe, natural products for pest management.
