APVMA invites comments to approval of fluxapyroxad and prosulfuron![qrcode]()

The Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA) has invited public comment to two new active ingredients, Syngenata’s herbicide, prosulfuron and BASF’s fungicide,fluxapyroxad.
Prosulfuron was applied for controling of post-emergent broadleaf weeds in established turfs while fluxapyroxad belonging to SDHI fungicide was applied to be used in barley . Xemium® based Fluxapyroxad from BASF had received registration in Europe for using on cereals last year(AgroNews2011-10-10). Syngenta had launched herbicide of prosulfuron under the brand of Peak on other market in year of 2011(AgroNews2010-12-03).
APVMA will release final decision after 28-day public comment period from Jan 17 to Feb 15,2012.
