Promising herbicide for sunflower

Kumiai America has agreed to support an IR-4 registration of pyroxasulfone on sunflower.
The National Sunflower Association and its State University partners in all of the production states have been testing this herbicide known as KIH-485 for a number of years.
The research results have been very promising as a sunflower herbicide.
Plans are to conduct residue trials in the summer of 2012.
Several crop protection companies have marketing agreements with Kumiai on this herbicide.
