Vitakelp.jpgSatis has just announced its new registration with Brazil’s Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (Mapa) for Vitakelp.

Based on research results with various algae of agronomic interest in multiple concentrations and combinations, the product is now also recognized as a fertilizer for seed treatment.

The solution is already recognized in the market for its action with bioactivating substances that help with flower and fruit set in different crops. Additionally, it has expanded its role as a stress mitigator for various crops such as corn, soybeans, and coffee.

According to the manufacturer, Vitakelp "extracts the maximum" from the algae Durvillaea Potatorum, Kappaphycus Alvarezii, and Ascophyllum Nodosum to enhance physiological stress management. This mode of action is proven to stimulate the production of enzymes that mitigate plant stress and, consequently, the lipid peroxidation responsible for causing cell membrane damage.

Plants are bioactivated from sowing through developmental physiology and nutrition, generating roots with more vigor to absorb water and nutrients throughout the soil. "In this way, the crop becomes more resistant and, according to agronomic research consultancies, in the case of soybeans, there is an average productivity increase of 4.6 bags/hectare," Satis stated.

With 25 years of experience in the Brazilian plant nutrition market, Satis is headquartered in the Brazilian state of Minas Gerais. The company operates six product distribution centers and employs 150 people.

According to them, they have representatives covering more than 90% of Brazilian territory through partner resellers, as well as a digital marketplace.

Satis stated that its vision is to "understand and anticipate producers' needs with appropriate solutions for sustainable agribusiness." Its operational motto is "Healthy Crops. Sustainable Business."

According to the company, its commitment is to offer solutions for smarter productivity, achieved through appropriate technologies and management practices, to ensure greater profitability without harming the environment.

The company conducts research at its Experimental Field facility to develop and research a broad portfolio of technologies for strengthening plants from roots to leaves and improving nutrient absorption, especially for corn, coffee, soybean, bean, wheat, rice, cotton, and minor crops. They also develop application technologies that enhance agricultural spraying, reducing losses and maximizing product effectiveness.
