New ISO 1750 and ISO 765 Maintenance Agency and Technical Committee 81 secretariat

When Technical Committee 81 (Common names for pesticides and other agrochemicals) was founded in 1955, the secretariat was assigned to the British Standards Institution (BSI), which had been standardising common names since 1948.
When the ISO 1750 and ISO 765 Maintenance Agency was founded in 2017, its secretariat was also assigned to BSI.
BSI has decided to relinquish both secretariats, and ISO/CS has announced that the Standardization Administration of China (SAC) has take over both secretariats with effect from 1st September 2024.
The contact details for the Committee Manager, to whom proposals for pesticide common names should be sent, have been updated.
