India - Kharif crop sowing crosses 811 lakh hectare

About 102.03 lakh ha under pulses cultivation reported compared to 89.41 lakh ha during the corresponding period of last year
About 153.10 lakh ha under shree anna and coarse cereals reported compared to 145.76 lakh ha during the corresponding period of last year
About 171.67 lakh ha under oilseeds cultivation reported compared to 165.37 lakh ha during the corresponding period of last year
The Department of Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare has released progress of area coverage under kharif crops as on 26th July 2024.
