Cheminova, Chemifert established new joint venture in Middle East and North Africaqrcode

Cheminova A/S  and Chemifert S.A.L. (Holding) signed a letter of intent to form a joint venture company, AGRINOVA S.A.L, for distribution of crop protection products in MENA region (Middle East and North Africa).

Cheminova AS has established sales in the MENA region, comprising Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, Egypt, Sudan, Djibouti, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, Turkey, Iran, Iraq, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain, UAE, Yemen, and KSA. The new venture will ensure that the increasing demand for product support can be met by an experienced team that is located in the territory.
 
Agrinova  S.A.L  team has a long experience in developing and growing successfully agribusiness for international companies in the Middle East and North Africa. Agrinova S.A.L has headquarters in Beirut, with representation offices in key locations across the region.

The co-operation will become operational on 12th September 2011 and will focus exclusively on the crop protection portfolio of Cheminova.
