ZDC DingCan (10% Trifloxystrobin · 30% Tebuconazole SC), the registered crops and targets are rice sheath blight and citrus trees resinosis (black scale disease). This product can effectively prevent and control a variety of fungal diseases in field crops, fruit trees, vegetables, etc. In addition, ZDC innovatively added bull kelp extract as an additive of DingCan, achieving a two-in-one synergistic effect of biostimulants and chemical control.

The active ingredients of DingCan are trifloxystrobin and tebuconazole. Trifloxystrobin is a methoxyacrylate fungicide and is a mitochondrial respiration inhibitor. It inhibits mitochondrial respiration by preventing electron transfer at cytochrome sites. It has the characteristics of high efficiency, broad-spectrum, protection, treatment, eradication, penetration, systemic activity, resistance to rain erosion, and long-lasting effects. Tebuconazole is a highly efficient, broad-spectrum, systemic triazole fungicide that inhibits the oxidative demethylation reaction of the ergosterol intermediate of pathogens, preventing them from forming cell membranes, thereby killing them. It has three major functions: protection, treatment and eradication. It has a wide bactericidal spectrum and a long-lasting effect. The mechanism of action of the two active ingredients are different. There is no cross-resistance after the combination, and the bactericidal spectrum is expanded, which helps delay the development of resistance to pathogenic bacteria.

DingCan also innovatively adds seaweed extract as an additive. ZDC's R&D team selected the bull kelp harvested in Tasmania, used independently developed fermentation strains to degrade the bull kelp cell wall, and obtained the extract with patented technology to retain the active substances in the seaweed to the greatest extent. Due to the high purity and compatible seaweed additive, Dingcan can not only stimulate the activity of plant defense enzyme system therefore strengthening drug effectiveness, but also improve crop quality and yield through improving plant absorption of nutrients and increasing stress resistance.
