The US EPA’s Office of Pesticide Programs (OPP) has scheduled a registration decision for BASF’s herbicide, saflufenacil, for the third quarter of fiscal 2009. Including import tolerances, the OPP has so far scheduled decisions for seven new active ingredients for the year to September 30th 2009.
Registration decisions for four of the nine ais scheduled for fiscal 2008 were outstanding in late May, according to the OPP’s latest update of its registration work plan. Some decisions scheduled for the second quarter of fiscal 2008 have been delayed until the third quarter.
