图片.pngVive Crop Protection announces the onboarding of Chris Garvey as Global Business Development Director. Garvey will help identify and develop new profitable market opportunities with 3rd parties that will build Vive’s B2B in- and out-licensing strategies for our patented Allosperse® Delivery Technology and bring opportunities to expand its biological portfolio.

″I’m thrilled to join the Vive team to support the development of new B2B relationships and drive the awareness and co-collaboration of unique products utilizing Allosperse,″ says Garvey.

Garvey has 40 years of industry experience in corporate strategy, business general management, sales and marketing, business development, and technology leadership roles. His most recent roles included founder/principle of his consulting firm, numerous roles at Corteva Agriscience, and Mycogen Seeds General Manager as well as leading M&A (acquisition and integration) and sales and operations planning projects.

″We couldn’t be more excited to have Chris on board the Vive team,″ says Vive’s VP of Sales and Business Development David Rummel. ″He will make great strides in leading us toward more collaborative and strategic partnerships that will assist in expanding our Allosperse presence in the market, as well as, embrace new innovative technologies and products.″

A graduate of the University of Delaware, Garvey holds a Bachelor of Science degree in entomology/plant pathology, an MBA, and holds four US patents. He has served on the Board of Directors of Illinois Foundation Seeds (IFSI), Precision Soya, and the American Seed Trade Association (ASTA). He continues to serve as the president of Maplelawn Farmstead, a nonprofit historic restoration and preservation organization in Zionsville, Indiana, and a board member of the Indiana Barn Foundation.
