″The main complaint of citrus growers is psyllid,″ said Carla Fiorin, Market Development agronomist at ADAMA, highlighting the solution against the main vector of Greening, also known as huanglongbing and HLB.

Seizer_0.jpgSeizer is an insecticide that belongs to the group of pyrethroids formulated in an emulsifiable concentrate (EC).

In addition to psyllid in citrus, the insecticide is also effective in controlling insect pests that affect cotton, sugarcane, bean, corn, soy, tomato and wheat crops.

″In addition to Seizer, ADAMA hopes to register Trivor (Acetamiprid + Pyriproxyfen) for the crop soon, which will help citrus growers in rotating their assets and the use of integrated pest management strategies,″ Fiorin said.

Trivor_0.jpgAccording to the manufacturer, Trivor controls White Fly (Bemisia tabaci) during all its stages.

″The combination of molecules that make up Trivor guarantees a strong shock action, prolonged residual effect, and effective control in all whitefly stages, therefore, breaking the pest's life cycle. Trivor offers long residual control, with consistent results under different cultivation conditions,″ ADAMA said.

With its juvenoid action, Trivor controls all stages of the whitefly, it added.

″Trivor has a strong shock and residual action, in addition to facilitating its application, since its presentation is ready for use. In addition, Trivor is a selective product for natural enemies,″ Fiorin said.
